Real Betis

If not for the victory they achieved from Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey, Real Betis would have agonized on an extended run hampered by a winless streak. They have never been able to seize a win for eleven consecutive weeks in La Liga, of which eight went to conclude dismaying while three finished in low-scoring draws.

A goal-less deadlock was scored by the Beticos when they fought with Real Valladolid recently. The one point obtained from this battle was far from being enough to improve their struggling status in the Spanish top-tier league. They have been in the table’s rock bottom for several weeks now, and their recent performances further indicate that they may still dwell in the deadly spot some weeks more.

Scoring an unbeaten streak in their last five matches, Osasuna are seeing the beacon in their dark tunnel. They scored two thrilling draws in the Copa del Rey and another couple of stalemates plus a victory in the Spanish top-flight league. However, the draw-dominated streak means that the side are still running short of really impressive stunts to truly consider them as a La Liga powerhouse. Their resilience is inspiring, but there is still a lot of work to be done.

Javi Gracia’s tutelage of the squad is proving to be much better than José Luis Mendilibar’s. His streak is not necessarily perfect, but his efforts have yielded more successes than his predecessor. Osasuna are presently three spots adrift of the bottom three, with a record standing at W5-D3-L10.

Football betting tip: Real Betis and Osasuna are both having a difficult run in the season, with both of them sharing similar experience of suffering in the relegation zone. However, between the two, Osasuna are much more capable of completely retaining themselves in Spain’s top football tournament.
