Xherdan Shaqiri

Bayern Munchen’s winger Xherdan Shaqiri is said to be joining the Brendan Rodgers revolution at Anfield next season after failing to secure a steady spot Pep Guardiola’s starting XI.

Shaqiri’s seemingly lack of exposure under Guardiola’s reign prompted speculations that he might get his chance in a different league.

According to reports, Liverpool is willing to spend £15million just to have his signature.

However, Shaqiri dismissed all allegations of his impending exit and stressed that he will still be playing at the Allianz Arena next season.

Mats Hummels

Borussia Dortmund’s trusted defender, Mats Hummels is allegedly set for a move at Old Trafford.

The arrival of Netherlands’ current head honcho, Louis van Gaal is expected to bring new faces into Manchester United’s lineup and Hummels is perceived to be one of the club’s main target.

Hummels did not deny his interest of joining the English Premier League though. However, he stressed that a transfer will not take place immediately, well, at least, not for this summer.

Hummels is part of the German contingent that demolished Portugal in the early leg of the tournament. He scored Germany’s 2nd goal.

Thomas Muller

Despite extending his contract with the Bavarians, Thomas Muller’s special relationship with van Gaal might trigger his exit.

Muller considers van Gaal as his mentor during his stay at the Bavarian’s camp. The seemingly unbreakable bond that ties the two might convince the young player to wear a Manchester United jersey soon.

But should Muller decides to leave, United must be willing to spend. Muller’s impressive performance—his hat-trick against Portugal makes him a hot commodity.
