Some Malaysian betting tips predict that the face-off between Athletic Bilbao and Real Valladolid will most likely end in a draw. Indeed, this is a possibility since the clubs almost had a neck-to-neck performance last season.

However, if the numbers shall be used as bases, there is an even bigger possibility for Los Leones be the winner of the upcoming match.

Sporting their new manager, Ernesto Valverde, the club will be stepping out from Marcelo Bielsa’s shadow that almost made them a suitable candidate for relegation. Joining Valverde in managing the club is another Los Leones icon, Joseba Etxeberria.

Marcelo Bielsa might be one of the “best managers in the world,” well at least, for Pep Guardiola, he is. However, his bizarre approaches were simply way ahead of his time that it can barely translate to match victories. With a new approach from Valverde, Los Leones are positive about this change. But they need time to adjust.

The above-mentioned change should be carefully looked at by Pucela should they want to secure their first triumph in the new season. To note, the closest and probably the best performance of Pucela against Los Leones was a draw. They have recently acquired the Columbian forward, Humberto Osorio Botello and there are stories about the signing of striker Jacob Mulenga—which if pushed through, can do the trick for the club.

The Pucela had a better goal difference than Los Leones, yet, the latter still, outscored them on the rankings. Under this context, a draw might be possible, but with Athletic Bilbao, winning is a guaranteed one.
