Sevilla may have lost its last 20 away matches, but their strong form makes them as the heavy favorite over the almost relegated Valladolid.

Team Form

Valladolid

The Pucelas suffered a major blow at Barcelona’s hands when they were thrashed by 4 goals to 1. Their defeat plummeted them on La Liga’s 17th spot and holding on tightly to dear life. Although Javi Guerra scored the match’s opening shot, the club failed to sustain the momentum on their side while Barcelona’s Alexis Sánchez, Xavi and Neymar became unstoppable in their scoring spree.

Fighting for survival, another defeat will result to relegation. Should they crumble against Sevilla, this will be their 5th loss out of their last 9 matches.

What even made matters worse for the Pucelas is the nasty injuries incurred by its players. Victor Perez, for one will be sidelined until January. Perez currently nurses a broken tibia. Alvaro Rubio, Lluis Sastre, Daniel Larsson and Valdet Rama will be also leaving the spotlight due to injury issues.

Sevilla

The Sevillistas are in a much better form than Valladolid. The club has managed to maintain its winning episodes after keeping SC Freiburg at bay in the Europa League. Despite the fatigue, scoring 2 goals against Almeria came easy. The club eventually won the match and landed them in La Liga’s 11th spot. While this is lower than its competitors, Sevilla’s form is definitely much better than that of Valladolid. To note, the club has already won twice, drew thrice and lost thrice during its last 8 matches

Football betting tip: Valladolid 2-0 Sevilla

Valladolid has dominated majority of its matches against Sevilla. They could have had their upper hand if not for the injuries they suffer and their lackluster performance.
