Team Form

From the rock bottom part of the table, Sunderland has somehow, shown some improvements in their performance, The draw against Southampton gave them an extra point to go higher in the English Premier League’s ranking.

So far, Sunderland has already won two (2) of their last six (6) matches. Gus Poyet and his men look forward to another victory when they meet Stoke. The club’s confidence is high not only because of their improvements, but also with the acquisition of defender, Santiago Vergini, who has been one of their anticipated pursuits. Also joining them is the Argentinian goalkeeper, Oscar Ustari.

Stoke’s declining form might compromise their survival in the top-flight league. A defeat to minnows, Crystal Palace was a certified blast to their morale made worse by the failure to see the striker Juan Agudelo in action.

The Potters’  defeat to the then minnows, Crystal Palace prevented them from moving higher in the table, It also meant losing their third away match and their fifth unsuccessful battle during their last six (6) matches.

But as if Stoke’s series of unfortunate events is about to end, the club was slapped with a denial of Juan Agudelo’s working permit. This leaves them with no other option but to loan the striker and wait until March to have him play for the club.

Online betting’s top pick: Sunderland

Sunderland’s better form shall be their main ticket to success when they go against Stoke. However, they should be careful as their opponent has the home court advantage to counter them.
