Roma will draw inspiration from its narrow defeat against Juventus to snatch a win against a struggling Chievo. The club cannot afford to miss an opportunity to score points in order to keep its pace for the title race.

The contenders

AS Roma

AS Roma’s 3-2 defeat to Juventus will not stop the title contender from sticking to its silverware campaign this season. Roma’s resilience has somehow, threatened a rampaging Juventus. Unfortunately, it was the latter’s defensive strength that prevailed.

Although the result was disappointing since it forced the capital club to take a step backward, the season is still a long way to go and after the said defeat, one can only expect a stronger and better Roma.

In the upcoming match, there is a strong possibility for Juan Manuel Iturbe to be sidelined in preparation for the Champions League. Kostas Manolas’ presence will be also missed after incurring a red card during the Juventus match. Nevertheless, the club looks forward to the return of Daniele De Rossi and Davide Astori.

Chievo dropped to the 16th spot of the league table after suffering a 2-0 defeat to the online betting favorite, AC Milan.

The squad is winless in its  last four (4) matches and is already on the verge of hitting the relegation zone. Chievo needs to step up soon or they might find themselves struggling for survival.

Possible head turner

Francesco Totti—Roma’s heart and soul will most definitely stand out in the upcoming match. Chievo should watch out for him unless they (Chievo) want to be easily destroyed.
