All eyes are set on Juventus this season. Many are eager to know if they can retain the title after Antonio Conte left the squad and take-over of Italy’s international team.

The contenders

Chievo Verona

Chievo just came from a tiring survival battle last season and fortunately, it was able to surpass the frightening threats of relegation.

However, as they make a brand new start, it seemed that their ambitions of climbing the Serie A table, shall be halted when they face the online betting favorite, Juventus. Definitely, their upcoming battle is a certified test of strength and determination.

Juventus title defence shall be the club’s focus this season. For the first time, the Old Lady will be performing without Antonio Conte, who decided to leave the squad after leading them to three (3) consecutive scudettos. The master tactician is now in charge with the Italian national squad.

But despite Conte’s absence, the club is confident that they can retain the title amidst speculations of their impending fall down.  As Claudio Marchisio explained, it is time to show that they can do it without Conte’s screams.

Possible head turners

There have been stories suggesting Arturo Vidal’s transfer to Manchester United. However, this matter still waits for confirmation. Until an agreement has been formalized, the Chilean international is expected to perform well for the squad. But of course, it is hard to ignore the possible contributions of Carlos Tevez, who dominated Juve’s scoring board last season.

Meanwhile, Andrea Pirlo’s retirement from international duties spells good news as the maestro can focus more on his domestic club.

What the odds say

Juventus is the ultimate betting favorite of 12BET. The Old Lady is valued to win at profitable odds of 1.56.
