Match Date: 10 May 2014 (local time)

Venue: Stadio Marc`Antonio Bentegodi

Although assured of retaining its Serie A status, Andrea Mandorlini has enough reasons to lament on the even steven finish between Hellas Verona and Lazio. The stalemate resulted to the newly-promoted club’s drop in the Serie A table when a controversial penalty was handed over to Lazio.

Meanwhile, Francesco Guidolin praised his side’s well-deserved victory against the minnow, Livorno. Despite the win, the club’s head honcho seemed unaffected with his uncertain future in Udinese.

Mandorlini stressed that the draw was a result of the “dubious penalty” awarded to its opponents. He added that his side hardly deserves a draw for only a victory can repay the efforts of his men. Nevertheless, Mandorlini looks forward to its last 2 matches this season and tacitly, hopes for better results.

Hellas Verona is one of the newly-promoted clubs in Serie A. So far, their performance has been impressive, knowing that majority of newly-promoted squads stumble in the tournament. In terms of its team form, evidently, Verona has the edge over its upcoming opponent. They are successful in 4 of their last 6 matches and won all of its last 3 home matches. They have also recorded a total of 3 goals in home encounters that have dominated.

Udinese, on the other hand, elicits the possibility of crumbling in the match. The club has been having troubles in their away matches. As a matter of fact, they have already lost 6 of its encounters outside their own territories. Giving them even more problems was the fact that in the 5 matches that they have lost, they have conceded an average of 2 goals.

Needless to say, Hellas Verona takes the online betting’s role in the said match.

Prediction:  Hellas Verona
