Juventus and Livorno

Match Date: 07 April 2014 (local time)

Venue: Juventus Stadium

Although possible, it was a great shock to see Juventus fell into the hands of Napoli. The Partenopei launched an assault, which kept the league leaders at bay, much to the disappointment of many. Nevertheless, there is a high possibility for the club to redeem itself as its next match is pitted against the brave Livorno.

With Jose Callejon’s early strike, Napoli has managed to establish a steady pace that ended with yet another goal. But this time around, it was from Dries Mertens.

Fortunately, the loss did little damage to prevent the Bianconeris from snatching another Scudetto. Somehow, the 9-point lead that it maintains against its closest rivals, AS Roma is more than enough to ensure its successful title defence this season.

Juve’s chances of winning the title become even more possible with the clash against Livorno. Part of it has something to do with the differences in rank  and the other has something to do with the result of their previous performances.

The Bianconeris have been successful in their last 15 matches at home. Apparently, this makes winning even more difficult for Livorno since they are having problems with their away form. The club is winless during its last 11 away encounters.

Livorno might draw some inspiration from the stalemate against Inter to step up their performance, but with Antonio Conte’s determination to seal their 3rd consecutive title, stopping the certified football betting favorite, Juventus,  proved to be a difficult endeavor.
