Are the Rossoneris back to their winning ways?

Spearheaded by their very own “golden boy” and now captain, Kaka, AC Milan secured its second consecutive win when they kept Chievo Verona at bay and thrashed them with 3 goals.

It has been quite a while since the club has achieved such feat. It struggled throughout the season. A series of unfortunate events and bitter losses witnessed the club stumbled not only in the title race, but also in the Champions League tournament next season. But with its most recent victory, a glimmer of hope shone upon them. After all, it is still, mathematically possible for the club to qualify for the Europa League.

But when reality starts to sink in, it is evident that despite Kaka’s return and Honda’s entry, AC Milan has failed to capitalize on the depth and strength of their players. The lack of enthusiasm, coupled with childish dramas on the pitch halted their rise to the top.

The Rossoneris need at least 10 points to qualify for the said competition. Yet, that means they have to win all their remaining matches. Going against Genoa is their first step. But it will not be an easy one.

Recently, Genoa’s head honcho described its 3-0 loss to Hellas Verona as the “worst in his career.” The club will definitely seek redemption from their lackluster performance.

Genoa has never won a match against the Rossoneris in their previous matches. However, they are capable of pulling off a stalemate.

AC Milan may be the match’s  online betting favorite. But they need to be more consistent on the pitch.
