Match Date: 18 May 2014 (local time)

Venue: Stadio Artemio Franchi

A down the wire match with clubs fighting tooth and nail will best describe the upcoming clash against Fiorentina and Torino.
The Violas are assured of qualifying in the Champions League and the season has been great for them. Thus, this could make them keen gaining dominance in the said match. In the meantime, Torino will most likely to seek redemption at Artemio Franchi as the draw against Parma crossed out their chances of making it to the Europa League.

Fiorentina’s crucial win against Livorno pushed the latter to the table’s rock bottom part and therefore lose its Serie A status. The Amaranto’s supporters, however, did not take the loss lightly and started to chant insulting songs against Giuseppe Rossi, much to the disappointment of Vincenzo Montella. Yet, regardless of the said incident, this does not erase the fact that the club had the upper hand in the said match.

As the Violas aim for another important win, they should not disregard the importance of having a consistent performance. Despite playing in their own ground, they can hardly afford to stay complacent as they have already lost 5 of their last 7 matches at home—something which Torino can readily take advantage of.

Torino just lost its bid for the Europa League next season. However, the match against Fiorentina gives them the opportunity to collect more points and ensure a stronger finish.

Since Torino holds an undefeated record in its last 6 matches, compared to Fiorentina’s 4 wins and 2 losses, it is not surprising to see the club as the top pick of sports betting sites.
