Udinese vs Sampdoria - Serie A Tim 2012/2013

There is no guarantee that Sampdoria’s new manager can do wonders for the club. A series of adjustments and familiarization are still required before they can bounce back. As for Lazio’s part, this could be their opportunity to stop their losing streak when playing in foreign territories.

Match Date: 24 November 2013 (local time)

Venue: Comunale Luigi Ferraros

Team Form

Sampdoria

Sampdoria shall be embroiled in a series of adjustments as their head honcho, Delio Rossi was sacked after its 3rd consecutive loss. Their most recent match, which was against Fiorentina ended in a 2-1 victory in favor of Fiorentina.

Rossi’s departure did not leave a void in the club as he has an immediate replacement. Sinisa Mihajlovic is about to set foot in the Sampdoria camp after his contract with the Serbian football association has been terminated.

With their current form, having Mihajlovic presents a double-edged sword. On the positives, this meant being introduced to a new and refreshing playing style. This meant imbibing the necessary skills to move out of the relegation arena.

However, the international break is the only time where the club can fully focus on climbing the Serie A table. This may not be enough as one also needs to consider the adjustment period that Sampdoria players must endure.

Lazio

Several minutes after Lazio scored their first goal, a relentless Parma immediately answered with an equalizer, much to the disappointment of many.
It could have been Lazio’s match. However, the sudden turn of events permitted a stalemate instead. What is even worse was that it happened in Lazio’s very own territory.

Lazio started strong this season, yet they failed to maintain and protect their spot in the table’s top 3. There is no assurance that they shall remain in the top 10 spot as the season is still, long.  While it is true that they have the upper hand over Sampdoria, they cannot afford to be overconfident. They lost in 7 of their away matches and if they are unlucky, Sampdoria might just steal the spotlight from them.

Football  betting tip: Sampdoria 1-3 Lazio

Despite their dwindling performance, Lazio remains a strong club, Between the two, it is Sampdoria that should be worrying for the match might lead them to the bottom of the Serie A table.
