Team Form

After a disappointing exit in Coup de France,  Reims is back to their winning ways. Lille had a first taste of Reims’ revenge when the latter shocked them with a 2-1 defeat.

Hubert Fournier and his men face the possibility of making a strong finish this season.  They may have lost in Coup de France, but they eventually bounced back when they trampled Lille. Reims will draw tons of inspiration from such victory as they know that Lyon will not easily throw the white towel in their upcoming match.

Reims’ current form is impressive. They were undefeated in five (5) of their last six (6) matches and they will most likely go for another victory. Should they win against Lyon, not only will they improve their rank, they will also have the opportunity to qualify for the Europa League.

With news of Bafetimbi Gomis’ departure, Lyon will most likely maximize his contributions for the club before a replacement is found.

Gomis is Lyon’s reliable striker and through his help, the club now sits on the 9th spot of the Ligue 1 table. His exit is definitely, a big loss to Lyon. But the good news, however, is that Gomis is set to leave at the end of the season. Thus, the club still, has enough time to score more points and improve their rank.

Lyon is also undefeated in five (5) of their last six 96) matches. Similar to Reims, they are also a club to beat this season. Definitely, they are not going to make it easy for their upcoming opponent to secure a victory.

Online betting top pick:   Reims

Although Lyon and Reims were undefeated in their  previous matches, Lyon’s good performance is comprised of draws. Only two (2) of them ended in victories. This was in stark contrast with Reims wherein they were able to secure four (4) wins in the course of their five (5) undefeated matches.
