Jagoba Arrasate is hopeful that La Real shall take the role of an online betting favorite when they play against Levante. Two (2) disappointing losses are more than enough to inspire the club and there is no better place to do this but at home.

Match Date: 09 February 2014 (local time)
Venue: Estadio Anoeta

Team Form

Real Sociedad

La Real is in danger of losing their bid for the European competition should they lose the match to Levante.

After suffering a 4-0 thrashing to Atletico Madrid, another round of disappointment engulfed Jagoba Arassate’s side when they fell to Barcelona’s hands during the Copa del Rey semis. But it seems that the odds are turning the favor to their side as their next matches (one against Levante and again, Barcelona) shall be performed at Anoeta where they have exhibited noteworthy performances,

La Real maintains a clean slate in their last six (6) home matches. They have also scored an average of three (3) goals in five (5) of them, thus, creating a threatening reputation to clubs, which dare to challenge them in their own territory.

Unfortunately, Íñigo Martínez shall be sidelined during the match  due to a red card received during the Copa del Rey face-off.

Levante

Levante’s scoreless stalemate against Rayo Vallecano caused a crucial drop that should be remedied long before they slide to the mid-table.

Levante currently maintains an average form with two (2) losses, draws and wins. Yet, there is an apparent defence issue, which requires immediate action. Their last three (3) away matches witnessed them concede an average of two (2) goals, which can be readily exploited by other clubs.

The Les Granotes are still far away from the relegation zone. But they can barely take a strong grip of the league’s 9th spot.

Prediction:  Real Sociedad

La Real will make an impression at their own turf, there is no doubt about that. One can expect them to go on a scoring rampage against Levante, which, as mentioned struggles to keep their defence intact.
