Venue: The Hawthorns

Everton and West Brom are on a tight race of getting out of the Premier League’s rock bottom pit. Both squads have only managed to collect 2 points since the season started. Their only means of survival were petty draws. And recently, both squads have been subjected to humiliating defeats.

The contenders

West Bromwich Albion

Individual errors and poor finishes lead to West Brom’s downfall against Swansea. In as early as 2 minutes, the latter has successfully secured the upper hand and when the final whistle was heard, West Brom was 3 goals down.

Currently, the Baggies occupies the 18th spot of the table alongside with the struggling Crystal Palace and Burnley.

Everton

Everton experienced the biggest defeat among the Premier League clubs last week. A determined and aggressive Chelsea made them bled when they scored 6 massive goals.
Sadly, it was the prize that Everton has to pay for having a weak defence and for failing to take advantage of scoring opportunities that came along their way.

Possible head turners

Ex-Chelsea man, Samuel Eto’ o made his presence known when he scored during the encounter against his former team. He is expected to continue such superb form when they face West Brom. Many are also waiting for Romelu Lukaku to feature in one of Everton’s matches. Hopefully, the Belgian international can make it to the West Brom’s face-off.

What the odds say

Football betting odds are eyeing for Everton to win the said match. The latter is valued to win at 2.10 in the sports betting site, 12BET.
