Last week’s stunners, Leicester and Crystal Palace shall meet in an attempt to gain more points and improve their rank in the Premier League table.

The Eagles just had its first win in the season since its new manager, Neil Warnock replaced the stellar Tony Pulis. The club hopes to veer away from the relegation zone and prove all its detractors wrong as it tries to snatch more wins.

However, in order to climb higher, Crystal Palace needs to outlast, Leicester, which is currently overflowing with confidence after outlasting Manchester United last week.

The contenders

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace kicked off the season with a slow start. The club started with 2 consecutive losses and 2 consecutive stalemates, which made them an automatic relegation candidate.

However, the match against Everton showed the Eagles’ different side. The squad responded well when Romelu Lukaku took the lead on the 9th minute. And as soon as the 2nd half started, Crystal Palace was already in control. Leighton Baines tried to have a late comeback when he converted a penalty for Everton, but to no avail.

Aside from Frank Lampard’s goal, which permitted Manchester City to equalize and force Chelsea to a draw, Leicester’s come from behind win against Manchester United, was a definite talk of the town last week.

The Red Devils maintained a 3-1 lead until the first few minutes of the match. However, a resilient David Nugent and Esteban Cambiasso were able to level the score to 3-3.  On the 79th, Jamie Vardy gave Leicester the lead and Leonardo Ulloa scored again on the 93rd, giving Leicester the win and cancelling the spectacular efforts of United’s Robin Van Persie, Angel Di Maria and Ander Herrera.

Possible head turners

Ulloa shall perform Leicester’s scoring responsibilities, but Crystal Palace’s Mile Jedinak will always be on guard to ensure that things go their way. Crystal Palace may be the favorite of online bookies such as 12BET, but the possibility of incurring a draw cannot be easily dismissed.
