Match Date: 25 March 2014 (local time)

Venue: St James’Park

After helping Wigan secure its FA Cup title last season, Roberto Martinez continues to etch his name in history as he led Everton in their 8th undefeated streak at home when they lambasted Swansea in a 3-2 victory.

It has been quite a long time since Everton had their taste of their “glamorous run-in.” They once experience such stature in March 1986 and not until they secured the above-mentioned victory did they have the chance of enjoying such euphoric state again.

But if there is anything which makes the said victory an important one, this is the possibility of qualifying into the European competition. Trailing Tottenham by 6 points, Everton, in the same way that Manchester City trails Chelsea in the title race, is still capable of pulling off an entry into the said tournament.
Yet, it will not be an easy route for Martinez.

Challenging their Europa League qualification campaign is Newcastle United. Like them, the club just came from a convincing victory against Crystal Palace. Certainly, Newcastle shall engage into a down the wire match in order to garner more points as their campaign for a stronger finish is still, far from being over.

With a team form characterized by 3 wins and 3 losses, Newcastle United’s performance in their last 6 matches, is simply worth the plaudits and merit.

Equally aggressive as that of Everton, sports betting sites, such as 12BET, for example, are considering the likelihood of the match ending in a draw at 3.17.
