Norwich and Manchester United

Match Date: 26 April 2014 (local time)

Venue: Old Trafford

Enduring 4 consecutive losses, Norwich’s decision to sack Chris Hughton takes the spotlight as the club fails to capitalize from such decision. Similarly, David Moyes experiences a similar dilemma. With the loss against Everton, Moyes is left with few chances to prove that he is indeed, Sir Alex Ferguson’s “hand-picked” successor.

It seemed that the move to kick out Hughton out of Norwich’s camp has backfired against the club. Although the reasons were valid, a look at the Canaries’  current form barely justifies the previous decision. Norwich is still a relegation candidate. And it looks like it is about to lose its Premier League status soon. After Manchester United, the club is pitted against two of the league’s giants, Chelsea and Arsenal. Aware of how strong these teams are, clearly, the Canaries’ potential of slipping to the Championship next season is high.

In the meantime, Moyes and his men fell again. But this time around, it was at the hands of Moyes’ former club, Everton.

Manchester United’s hope for a stronger finish began when Robin Van Persie turn the odds into their favor during the Champions League clash against Olympiakos. They made a great impression when they forced the football superpower, Bayern Munchen to a draw during the first leg of the quarterfinals. Yet, these were mere short shows.

Unable to capitalize on their renewed confidence, the club failed to replicate its international success at the domestic level.

Nevertheless, despite the Red Devil’s below average performances, it cannot be denied that they are still the top pick of sports betting sites in the said match. Its previous success against Norwich and the latter’s poor away performance, seems to project that they have higher winning possibilities.
