Premier League Match Preview: Crystal Palace vs. Fulham

Updated: October 8, 2013

Match Date: 21 October 2013 (local)

Match Venue:  Selhurst Park, South Norwood, London

Crystal Palace

In drought of a sizable success (a victory, not just a draw, that is), Crystal Palace have to exhaust all their resources, manpower, and full capacities in order to get themselves out of the bottom. A troubled run defaced the side’s streak, having won only once from seven matches. Bagging a win in their future battles is not entirely impossible, but it will be tremendously difficult. Scoring just three points, netting five innings, and conceding 13 goals, Palace players are obviously having problem acclimatizing with the pressure, rigor, and pace of the English top-flight league.

Fulham, although slightly more successful than Palace, are also suffering from a deep paucity of wins. The side are currently just one spot away from the relegation zone, earning only seven points from seven fixtures. The Cottagers debuted in the season with a success over Sunderland, but have since gone outside the lanes after accruing four defeats and one draw in their subsequent battles. In their most recent tourney, however, the side were able to bag their second win this season. Thanks to the 83rd minute goal (the only goal scored in the match) by Darren Bent, Fulham slaked life on a string of perturbing upsets.

Online betting tip: Although these sides weigh almost the same in terms of conversion skills and defense supervision, a fierce fight is not likely to happen. Amid poor scoring abilities, both Crystal Palace and Fulham lack the sinister power to be each other’s threat. Nevertheless, this combat will conclude in a 1-1 stalemate.
