Match Date: 15 April 2014 (local time)

Venue: Emirates Stadium

Desperate for a win, both Arsenal and West Ham United are eyeing for a stronger finish this season. However, their current form and performances suggest that they are gearing towards a different direction.
Which club is good enough to make an impression?

After 2 consecutive wins, West Ham United fell into Liverpol’s hands. Such has readily prevented the Hammers from gaining a spot in the Premier League’s top 10. Currently sitting on the 11th spot of the table, they cannot afford to lose more matches as this will place them at risk of a possible drop into the bottom. But with their next match pitted against another title contender, it looks like West Ham is trapped in a big trouble.

Speaking of big trouble, Arsene Wenger is in danger of being sacked should Arsenal suffer another loss. The French tactician has seen its club spiraled out of the top 3 and the title race with their lackluster performance. With the loss against Everton, the Gunners are at risk of losing their spot in the Champions League qualifier next season.

Arsenal thrives through a 1-point lead against Everton. Clearly, it is already impossible for them to be back in the title race. Liverpool’s 10-point lead is a mountain to surmount. So far, the Champions League appearance is the only consolation that Arsenal has. The so-called “almost champion” and online betting favorite,  is once again, back to the 4th spot and a win against West Ham United is its sole saving grace.

Prediction:  Arsenal
