Manchester City

Football betting favorite, Manchester City visits Carrow Road in an attempt to continue their title campaign, score more points and topple the current league leader, Arsenal.

Match Date: 08 February 2014 (local time)
Venue: Carrow Road

Team Form

Norwich

Angered and hurt over the disappointing defeat to Cardiff, Norwich’s head honcho, Chris Hughton disclosed that the 7-0 thrashing from Manchester City shall be their motivation when they face the Citizens.

Despite being two (2) notches away from the relegation zone, the Canaries do not have enough points to secure themselves out of the bottom pit. Their present form was also far from being impressive. They have already lost three (3) of their last six (6) matches and have only won once.

Pitted against Manchester City, which is also frustrated after the narrow defeat to Chelsea, the Canaries’ will have a hard time securing a needed victory.

Manchester City

Sharing the same frustration as that of Norwich, Manchester City shall use their halted title bid experience to inspire them in the upcoming match.

Trailing Arsenal by a mere two (2) points, the Citizens shall not waste the opportunity to grab the lead again and keep the pressure against the current table leader and with their strong form, it is not impossible for them to repeat the previous thrashing.

Manchester City show off an impressive away performance. They won four (4) of them and have scored at least two (2) goals during those encounters. While it is true that playing in foreign territories  is a great toll to the visiting club, this will hardly become a problem to the Citizens.

Prediction: Manchester City

Expect Manchester City to redeem themselves at Norwich’s expense. Sergio Aguero may be out due to an injury, but there is always Edin Dzeko and Alvaro Negredo to take care of their scoring concerns.
