Updated: October 31, 2013

Real Madrid’s sweet redemption from the El Clasico resulted to a scoring spree against Sevilla. Firing 7 goals coming from Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, the Los Blancos look forward to another major win.

Meanwhile, Almeria will try to move out of the relegation corner. With a stunning win against Valencia, the club shall exploit its home court advantage to get the match’s upper hand.

Almeria vs. Real Valladolid Preview

Match Date: 2 November 2013 (local time)

Venue: Estadio Mediterraneo

Team Form

Francisco Rodriguez is hopeful that the win against Valencia shall shift the club’s level of performance. Furthermore, he stressed that the club strives for more improvements as they know that there are still, plenty of matches to win.

With a track record of W1-D5-L7, the newly promoted Almeria is wary of the fact that they might not make it to the top-flight league this season. However, the victory against Valencia sparked some hope for the squad, which has been at the bottom pit of the relegation arena.
Almeria has been unsuccessful in its last 6 matches. The club can barely score a single goal and their journey became even harder as they were pitted against stronger squads such as Barcelona and Real Sociedad. Against Real Valladolid, Almeria is aware that of their upcoming opponent’s better rank. Nevertheless, winning remains a possibility as they have been undefeated in their last 7 home matches.

Real Valladolid

Capitalizing on draws, Real Valladolid has managed to escape the relegation arena. Its most recent match  (against Real Sociedad), although it ended in another draw, added a dose of confidence as their W2-D5-L4 record keeps them safe from the possibility of leaving the league in the next season.

Base on team form, it is easy to point at Real Valladolid as the clear winner over Almeria. However, with their poor record against the squad, one cannot dismiss the possibility for the club to end up with yet another draw. Almeria plays the strongest when they are at home. The slightest mistake can lead either to a loss, or just like what transpired in their previous matches, again, they can force a draw.

Football betting tip: Almeria 2-1 Real Valladolid

Expect Almeria to capitalize on their home court advantage whereas Real Valladolid, as mentioned can go for a draw just in case Almeria’s force happened to be strong to oppose.

Rayo Vallecano vs. Real Madrid Preview

Match Date: 02 November 2013 (local time)

Venue: Campo de Futbol de Vallecas

Team Form

Rayo Vallecano

A “bad first half,” this is how Paco Jemenez described the Franjirrojos’ performance as they continue to lurk in the relegation zone following a shocking defeat to the 10-man Osasuna.

Indeed, there was truth to Jemenez’s statement. At the onset of the match,  Osasuna already netted a header and it triggered the latter’s strong determination to win. Rayo Vallecano dominated the possession, but conversion problems prevented them from taking the upper hand. The club’s current team form now stands at W3-D0-L8.

However, conversion is not the sole concern of the club. In general, it was scoring. Their last 6 matches saw them averaged on a single goal per encounter. Two (2) of them gave the opponent the opportunity to keep a clean sheet as witnessed in the face-off against Valencia and Real Valladolid.

Now that they are pitted against Real Madrid, the Franjirrojos’ future remains bleak. With the absence of its key players such as Ze Castro, Seba Fernandez and Galeano, to name a few, leaves the club wishing for a miracle.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid flaunted a spectacular display of strength and might after thrashing Sevilla with a 7-3 victory.

After losing in the El Clasico, the Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema pulled off a barrage of scoring spree against Sevilla. Only Ivan Rakitic and Carlos Bacca of the Sevilla side were able to collect scores for the club.

Real Madrid’s big win clearly sends a strong message to its upcoming opponents. As far as Jemez’s camp is concerned, this signals an impending storm that will further subject them at the bottom of the La Liga table.

The Los Blancos have been consistent and prolific in their scoring attacks. In the Champions League, they thrashed FC Copenhagen with 4 goals and in they have been consistent in their succeeding matches, delivering at least 2 goals. It was only against Barcelona that the club has scored a single goal. But this is as far as their last 6 matches were concerned.

Real Madrid’s possibility of winning over Rayo Vallecano further increases as Xabi Alonso’s conditions continue to improve.

Football betting tip: Rayo Vallecano 1-4 Real Madrid

Kudos to Real Madrid, enough said.
