Atletico Madrid vs. Athletic Bilbao Preview

Match Date: 3 November 2013 (local time)

Venue: Vicente Calderon

Team Form

Atletico Madrid

With a W9-D0-L1  record, there is no question why Atletico Madrid ranks as the next top club of La Liga.
A surprising 1-0 loss put up a great challenge to Diego Simeone and his boys as they rampaged to a winning streak both in the international and domestic league. Austria Wien was the first to have a taste of such a (major) return. Next on the line was Real Betis, which received a 5-0 thrashing. As of this writing, Atletico Madrid still needs to overcome Granada before facing Athletic Bilbao.

Their current team form might change. But definitely, they are up for another victory before they face Athletic Bilbao.

Athletic Bilbao

Sitting comfortably in La Liga’s 5th spot, Athletic Bilbao is one of the strongest forces that one has to reckon with. Boasting a W6-D1-L3 team form, going against the club requires tons of training and preparation.

Like Atletico Madrid, Athletic Bilbao will not want to enter their match without scoring an initial victory against Elche. Knowing how strong their opponent is, they need to have buffer that will ensure their place on the league’s top 5.

Football betting tip: Atletico Madrid 2-1 Athletic Bilbao

Both club will try to outlast each other. They can either capitalize on scoring more goals or avoid conceding more goals. There is a possibility for the match to end in a draw. However, Atletico Madrid’s almost perfect form will ensure that they will emerge as the victorious camp.

Levante  vs. Granada Preview

Match Date: 03 November 2013 (local time)

Venue: Ciudad de Valencia

Team Form

Keeping a clean sheet against Espanyol, Levante is keen on continuing their winning streak prior to meeting Granada.

Levante currently stands at the 7th spot of the La Liga table and with their match against the minnow, Real Betis, there is a high possibility for them to leap frog in the top 5 slot prior to clashing with Granada.

The upcoming win goes beyond adding more points. It also serves as a morale booster— a dose of inspiration before going against a club that is also eager on avoiding the relegation zone.

Seven (7) notches below Levante is Granada. As of this writing, the club has been struggling to have a consistent performance on the pitch as losses and draws pile up in their current track record.

Granada scored a narrow victory against Elche. But they have to face Atletico Madrid’s fury first before they meet Levante. Given the discrepancy between Atletico Madrid and Granada’s team form, there is a possibility that Granada shall face Levante carrying a major defeat from their previous opponent.

Football betting tip: Levante 3-1 Granada

Levante shall call the shots in this match. Granada will score in a futile attempt to avoid relegation. But  at the end of the day, it will be Levante which shall have the last laugh.
