Bayern Munich vs. Hertha Berlin Match Preview

Match Date: 26 October 2013 (local time)

Venue: Allianz Arena

Team Form

Bayern Munchen

After thrashing Viktoria Plzen with 5 goals to nil, the Bavarians are keen on extending their lead as they meet the newly promoted, Hertha Berlin.

Bayern’s tremendous improvement in the pitch is evident. With the way they dominate possession, taking more shots than usual and an impressive pass accuracy, there is no doubt that Pep Guardiola made the club fiercer and more dangerous.

Guardiola’s changes i.e, the penchant for the 4-1-4-1 instead of the typical 4-2-3-1 increased the club’s flexibility. I helped the club create more scoring opportunities without sacrificing their defence. While it is true that the Bavarians needed to adjust, the process did not take a considerable amount of time. And what could be a greater proof in the club’s success, but its current record.

To note, Bayern has never lost a single match. However, encounters with Freiburg and Bayer Leverkusen ended up in a draw. Perhaps the feats of those 2 clubs can inspire others. Or it may even put more scare to those who oppose. Nevertheless, what is evident as of the moment is that the Bavarians elicit the possibility of getting the silverware this season—and this applies to both of the domestic and Champions leagues.

Hertha Berlin

Hertha Berlin is picking up victories again. After a strong start, the club suffered 2 consecutive losses that brought questions many of its supporters. However, it seems like the club is back on its feet and is willing to do anything in order to add more points to their current score. But the question is how long can they stand Bayern?

Hertha Berlin is a strong club, there is no doubt about it. Just recently, it squeezed its way to triumph during the Borusssia Monchengladbach encounter. That 36th minute goal of Adrian Ramos brought the club’s first and winning goal.

In terms of its current team form, the club sits comfortably at the 4th spot of the Bundesliga table with 4 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. At best, they are one of the Bavarians’ worthy opponent and the only thing that Hertha Berlin needs to do is to prove and live up to such assumptions.

Football betting tip: Bayern Munich 3-1 Hertha Berlin

With Bayern playing in their own territory, expect the club to score and take shots more often. Out of the last 6 matches that the Bavarians played against Hertha Berlin, it was the former, which emerged as the victorious side. Under this context, there is no wonder why Bayern Munchen is pegged as the heavy favorite of the match.

Hannover 96 vs. Hoffenheim Match Preview

Match Date: 26 October 2013 (local time)

Venue: HDI Arena

Team Form

Hannover 96

Hannover will try to make it to the league’s top 5 during their Hoffenheim encounter. Sitting comfortably on the 7th spot,a victory will catapult the club’s ranking in the league.

It has not been a very pleasant week for Hannover. Hoping that they will recover from a disappointing loss against Bayer Leverkusen, their succeeding matches ended in a stunning draw by Hertha Berlin and yet another loss to Borussia Dortmund.  As a result, both of its losses and wins are now pegged at 4. Although, this is better compared to other clubs, this does not guarantee their firm grip of the top spot. Plus, they have to deal with the unfortunate event that Christian Pander will be sidelined in the upcoming match.

Not until a rematch occurs between Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen, the former will remain on the 11th spot of the league.
Just recently, Stefan Kiessling’s phantom goal haunted Bundesliga. What looked like a swift goal was no less than an illusion. It turned out that the net has a hole and so the ball was able to get inside. Unfortunately, a goal was awarded and after several reviews, talks of having a rematch spread.

So far, Hoffenheim’s performance is enough to keep them out of the relegation zone. Four (4) of their matches ended in a draw, won twice and lost thrice. However, should the rematch takes place and the club snatches a victory, this will immediately propel them to the table’s top 10.

Football betting tip: Hannover 96 2-1 Hoffenheim

Assuming that Hoffenheim wins, Hannover remains to be a stronger force. The club has won 3 of its last home matches and there are no signs that the result of this match will be different.
