Gareth Bale’s entry into Real Madrid gives the Los Blancos plenty of material to work on. His presence meant additional strength to the club, which is also graced by other young talents such as Isco. As they battle for the top spot against Villarreal, Carlo Ancelotti is sure to have the upper hand knowing that he is equipped with prolific players that fire devastating goals in the pitch.

Real Madrid

Gareth Bale’s transfer to Real Madrid has been one of the buzzwords in the transfer market. And true enough, the celebrated player is finally joining the ranks of Florentino Pérez.

However, his arrival in Santiago Bernabéu is met with the exit of Mesut Ozil and Kaká, who just reunited with his former club AC Milan.

To date, Real Madrid alongside with Barcelona and its upcoming opponent, Villarreal maintains a spotless record in the rankings. It won 3 of its matches and is a point behind Villarreal in terms of their goal difference.

On the other hand, Xabi Alonso will remain sidelined until he recovered from his metatarsal surgery. Similarly, Raphael Varane may not be featured in the club’s starting XI as he is still, recovering from a knee injury.

Newly promoted Villarreal shall have the opportunity to prove their true strength when they face the Los Blancos.

Fondly called as the Yellow Submarines, the club is also enjoying a clean slate in the league. It has not lost in any of its last 3 matches and is a point higher than Real Madrid. As previously mentioned, its edge over Real Madrid is due to its goal difference.

Online betting tip: Real Madrid edges past Villarreal

A close-knit battle best describes the clubs’ encounter. As a matter of fact, there is a tendency for it to end in a draw.

Nevertheless, there are important factors to believe why Real Madrid will emerge as the victorious ones.

First off, Bale’s signing meant that he is Neymar’s “perfect” antidote or counterpart. There is no  doubt that his current position is already covered by the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo. But this is also true for Barcelona’s Messi-Neymar tandem. Having Bale on the pitch and combining him with Ronaldo further strengthens the Los Blancos’ competitive edge not only in Primera Division, but also in the Champions League where there is also a possibility of going against Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani.

Isco is also another player to look forward to in Real Madrid. Just 21 years of age, Isco has already proven his worth in the eyes of the Madridistas. He has been a prominent figure in Bernabéu since he entered the pitch and even salvaged the club from a possible draw against Real Betis with his late minute rally. Likewise, he scored the opening and final goals of the Los Blancos during the Athletic Bilbao encounter.

Despite the loss of Ozil and Kaká, this hardly bothers Carlo Ancelotti as he has tons of materials to work on.
