Manchester United is back on their winning ways and will continue to do so when they meet  Cardiff. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace, still, have no manager to guide them accordingly. Without a clear cut direction on who will manage the club and with injury issues adding to their misery, it is unclear how long they will stay in the Premier League.

Cardiff vs. Manchester United Preview

Match Date: 24 November 2013 (local time)

Venue: Cardiff City Stadium

Team Form

Cardiff

Although 2 points short in clinching an equalizer, Cardiff has managed to move up from the 16th spot and veer away from the relegation zone.

Aston Villa may have taken the upper hand, but the Bluebirds did not fail to impress. It was quite a while since they made it to the Premier League and so far, they have shown that they can survive the wars on the pitch. As a matter of fact, even David Moyes is impressed of how Malky Mackay has strengthened the club. Their discipline is outstanding and their set-pieces are threatening.

As they battle against Manchester United, there is a strong possibility for them to keep the reigning champ up on their toes. They can snatch the victory. But there is little assurance that David Moyes shall permit it.

Manchester United

Incumbent Premier League champ, Manchester United proved that they are back on their “winning ways” after upsetting the current table leader, Arsenal.

Robin Van Persie’s header scored the Red Devil’s sole and winning goal. Yet, Van Persie was not the sole hero of the match. Wayne Rooney provided the scoring opportunity.

Manchester United’s past performances have been inconsistent. However, after losing to West Bromwich Albion, the club showed significant improvements, which propelled them to the league’s top 5—the elite zone that Manchester United has always dominated.

What happened against Arsenal was a testament to the club’s strength that may have been a little bit taken aback by coaching changes and adjustments.

Manchester United has won 3 of its last matches and it is hard to see a slow down even if they play in a different territory. The Red Devils’ away matches saw more than 2 goals made and under this context, it is safe to say that Manchester United is back for the title race.

Football betting tip: Cardiff 2-3 Manchester United

Manchester United’s upsurge in the ranking shows no signs of slowing down. Cardiff City can give them a thriller, but as what the Red Devils have shown, one cannot immediately trample a champion’s heart.

Hull vs. Crystal Palace Preview

Match Date: 23 November 2013 (local time)

Venue: The Kingston Communications Stadium

Team Form

Hull

The roaring Tigers surrendered like tamed cats after dropping 2 notches from the top 10 after a scoring blitzkrieg against the frustrated Southampton.

Hull City had to bear the brunt of Southampton’s frustration when their scrimmage against Stoke City ended in a dead heat. The host’s fury resulted to a clean sheet and 4 massive goals. As per the visitor’s side, it has been their 5th loss in 6 of their away matches.

Despite their opponent’s resounding win, Steve Bruce remained positive about the outcome and even implied that being defeated to a “great side” is akin to getting a compliment.

Hull City

At the end of the day, they will be back at home in their upcoming match where they have kept a clean sheet.

Crystal Palace

In an attempt to salvage themselves from the relegation zone, the Eagles have managed to force a scoreless draw against Everton.

Without a manager to handle them, the Eagles seem to have lost its direction. Their poor performance continues as they struggle to remain in England’s top-flight league. But perhaps their chances can get better. They can capitalize on the draw against Everton and slowly, but surely, they can start climbing the ladder.

However, to do this, they need to reverse their losing streak during away matches. Crystal Palace have lost 5 of their recent away battles and this has been breaking their momentum. Moreover, they need to work on their scoring since 6 of their last 8 matches gave their opponents the opportunity to keep a clean sheet. Moreover, they will be needing more creativity in the pitch as Adlene Guedioura is sidelined due to a punctured lung and broken ribs.

Football betting tip: Hull 2-1 Crystal Palace

It is a clash between the Tigers and the Eagles and apparently, it is the Tigers that have the highest possibility of reigning in the football jungle.
