Updated: September 6, 2013

Match Date: 15 September 2013 (local time)

Venue: Eintracht-Stadion

Nurnberg shall defy the odds to secure its first victory and move their way out of the relegation zone. The pressure is on to new recruit Makoto Hasebe whose experience in Wolfsburg is highly instrumental in directing the squad.

The Lions are having a hard time adjusting into the top-flight league. After 4 matches, the club is still, eyeing for their elusive victory. Yes, they have not won a single match. Either they man up and fight for their survival or be merely contented with having a short stint in Bundesliga.

It is pretty understandable that they are still, on the process of strengthening their flank. But they must do it the fastest way that they can.

Nurnberg’s current situation is just slightly better than the Lions. Likewise, they are seeking for their first victory. The good news, however is that they have managed to force a draw in 2 of their lost 4 matches, while the other half resulted to disappointing defeats.

Recently, it was reported that Makoto Hasebe from VfL Wolfsburg shall be joining the club. Exposed to Bundesliga’s playing style, Hasebe is expected to share his experiences in Germany’s top-flight league. His contributions are also essential in leading the club gain its awaited victory.

Online betting tip: Nurnberg to win by a goal

Both Braunschweig and Nurnberg are already lingering in the relegation zone. However, given their past performance, Nurnberg’s edge is evident.

Despite failing to win a single match, Nurnberg has the ability to compete with stronger clubs. The draws of their first 2 matches prove that. However, the Lions will not wave the white flag easily. Well at least, not in their own soil. Yet, with Makoto Hasebe’s entry into the pitch, the veteran player will most likely help Nurnberg cope with the pressure and emerge triumphant instead.
