Heavy sports betting favorites, Valencia and Atletico Madrid embark on a crucial face-off that will somehow, determine their right to be a title contender.

The contenders

Valencai’s even steven finish against Real Sociedad prevented them from securing a tie with the current table leader, Barcelona.
Carles Gil gave the squad the much needed lead, but La Real’s Sergio Canales quickly responded and netted an equalizer.

Indeed, it was a frustrating draw for Valencia as they lost the opportunity to break away from other clubs such as their upcoming opponent, Atletico Madrid.

Atlético Madrid

Diego Simeone or more fondly called as Cholo is finally back on the pitch. His return received a warm welcome among fans and players alike and indeed, the head honcho proved why he is readily missed.

Just recently, his led his team to a 4-0 thrashing of Sevilla, which propelled them to the 3rd spot of the La Liga table.

In the Champions League, Atletico also emerged victorious when they disappointed Juventus with a narrow 1-0 victory.
Currently, Atletico’s confidence level is at its peak and it seems that no force on earth can stop the defending champion.

Possible head turners

Koke has always been the reliable cog of Atletico Madrid and with the match pitted against a potential title rival, expect him to stand out and defy all expectations.
