This will be the first season that Real Madrid will be playing without Angel Di Maria and with Xabi Alonso on his way to the German giants, Bayern Munich, many want to know how these departures affect the Madridistas’ competitiveness.

The contenders

Real Sociedad

La Real had its first taste of humiliation during the season’s kick –off when they bowed down to the newly-promoted squad, Eibar. But its nightmare is far from over since its next game is pitted against Real Madrid.

Real Sociedad readily struggled against the Los Blancos. Last season, their two encounters witnessed them concede 9 goals, 5 in their first meeting and 4 in their last battle. Until now, the results of such encounters continue to haunt La Real.

Real Madrid

Many are eager to know how Angel Di Maria’s departure will affect the Los Blancos’ performance in their upcoming match. The respected winger has already contracted a deal with Manchester United and is set for a debut appearance soon. Nevertheless, the club clinched a convincing win against Cordoba and this should inspire them in their upcoming match.

Real Sociedad has not won a single match against the Madridistas  in their last 6 matches. The best that they came up with was a draw and clearly, the squads’ first encounter this season will favor the online betting favorite, Real Madrid.

Possible head turners

Having been awarded as Europe’s best player, Cristiano Ronaldo will definitely take the opportunity to feature in the next match.

Kroos was also impressive during the battle against Cordoba—generating crucial assists alongside with Isco. There is a possibility for Isco to be included in the starting XI.

James Rodriguez had several goal scoring opportunities in the previous match, but he needs to be more clinical to clinch goals.

Carlos Vela just recovered from an injury and is expected to unleash his scoring spree in the upcoming match.

What the odds say

Profitable odds valued at 1.37 is given to Real Madrid in 12BET. A  4.68 odds for a possible draw is also a lucrative wager.
