Still winless, Cordoba is in serious trouble as they are about to face one of the strongest forces in Spain’s top-flight league. This is no other than the Europa League titleholder, Sevilla.

So far, Sevilla has managed to maintain a clean slate in the La Liga table. Although it started a bit slow when they debuted the season with an even steven finish, the club was nonetheless, able to secure 2 consecutive victories, which further strentghten their campaign this season.

The contenders

Cordoba is fast becoming a relegation candidate with the way it performs. Against Almeria, the squad can only afford to force an even steven finish, which readily pushed them towards the rock bottom pit of the table.

The club’s possibility of having an early exit becomes even higher if they lose to the online betting favorite, Sevilla.

Sevilla is in good shape right now. Despite the pressure of successfully defending their title, the club has managed to pull off a good performance in the domestic league. Their first match in the season may have ended in a draw.  But then again, the 2 consecutive victories are more than enough to save them from hitting the bottom of the table.

Possible head turners

Aleix Vidal gave a good show in Sevilla’s match against Getafe. Should he continue with such performance, there is no doubt that his presence could readily make a difference in Sevilla’s form.
