Celta Vigo

Match Date: 17 May 2014 (local time)

Venue: Mestalla

Coming off of a spectacular win against Real Madrid, Celta Vigo turns its attention to clinching its 5th consecutive victory prior to the season’s end. Pitted against them is Valencia, which dropped a notch after suffering a disappointing loss to Levante.

Celta Vigo’s win against Real Madrid will definitely land a spot in La Liga’s history pages. The crucial victory did not only help them gain the much needed points, but also the respect of other squads participating in Spain’s top-flight league. They literally erased Real Madrid from the title race contention and they have managed to keep a clean sheet.

The Os Celticos started slow this season. After hanging on to the 17th spot during the 2012/13 tournament, the squad has successfully made its way into the La Liga table and is already one of the league’s 10 best squads.

Given this aspect at hand, it is not surprising to see its head honcho, Luis Enrique as Barcelona’s target next season.

Meanwhile, Valencia’s top brass, Juan Antonio Pizzi takes the blame not only for the club’s loss to Levante, but also in the squad’s overall performance this season. He explained that he has the full responsibility of Valencia since he is the master orchestrator of every match.

Nevertheless, he stressed that he will try to make guide the club into a much needed victory against the online betting favorite, Celta Vigo.

Prediction: Celta Vigo
