The said victory enabled them to temporarily climb out of the table’s rock bottom pit and be inspired with the possibility of staying for the next season. Almeria is currently occupying the 18th spot of the table and trails Getafe by 2 points and should it win its last 3 matches, it will stay in La Liga. However, this will also mean that Getafe should slip or falter in their remaining battles. Otherwise, survival may not come at all.

In the meantime, one can still expect Real Betis to pull off a strong performance against Almeria.

Despite the fact that it is already relegated, the club is nonetheless, playing for pride and honor.

Real Betis was formerly occupying the 7th spot of the La Liga. Sadly, a series of unfortunate events resulted in lackluster performances, which, eventually, permitted its unprecedented downfall. Betis’ manager, Gabriel Calderon, however, stressed that the clubs should be more united in order to make it to the top-flight league after the next season.
