The International Champions Cup may be a celebrated friendly, but this will not stop Real Madrid and Manchester United from fighting tooth and nail to clinch the trophy.

Realistically speaking, online betting odds and statistics readily favor the Red Devils. They are undefeated in the competition while the defending champion, Real Madrid will play for honor’s sake.

The contenders

Manchester United

Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United takeover is perhaps one of the best decisions that the club management has ever done. Van Gaal is their “best signing.” The Red Devils are slowly reaping the results that they have long aimed for.
Manchester United currently leads Group A with five (5) points after beating AS Roma and Inter. These victories readily manifest the squad’s eagerness to bring back its ghlory days and so is Van Gaal’s determination to rebuild the club. It can be remembered that despite the victory against AS Roma, Van Gaal was still unimpressed for failing to dominate possession.

It may sound unappreciative, but somehow, Van Gaal’s reaction served as a challenge to the rest of the Red Devils as they nailed their second win against Inter.

Real Madrid

It is quite unlikely to see the defending champion struggle in the current competition. The Los Blancos failed to clinch a single win. Instead, they harvested disappointed losses. They had the chance against Inter, but to no avail. They tried to make a comeback against Roma, but they failed again.

What the odds say

It does not take a genius to see that Manchester United is the top pick of football betting tips. Real Madrid may feature too. But even if the latter wins, they are still eliminated from the competition.
