Despite its stunning defeat from Bayer Leverkusen, online betting odds, still, pick SC Freiburg (Breisgau-Brasilianer) as favorites over FSV Mainz 05 (the O-Fives). The club finished on the 5th spot last season and while they may have been stunned by Bayer’s scoring rampage, the club remains a strong contender in the league.

But while it is true that the O-Fives were almost relegated last season, the club, nonetheless, made a strong finish against VfB Stuttgart. At best, it was an impressive performance that will keep Breisgau-Brasilianer on their toes.

SC Freiburg
An early defeat greeted the club. Nevertheless, it is pretty understandable since the club is still on its adjustment period.

Just recently, Breisgau-Brasilianer lost some of its key players. Christian Streich are currently working with new players and blending in might require some time. However, this dilemma is nothing but temporary and will actually bring in more advantage to them.

The club now has plenty of fresh legs to throw into the pitch and pressure the O-Fives.

Mike Hanke has been consistent in his scoring and with more opportunities established, the more contributions he can deliver.

Mainz 05
The O-Fives are eyeing for a winning streak. They outlasted VfB Stuttgart in a nerve-wrecking face-off.

Similar to Mike Hanke, Nicolai Müller was also consistent. The Breisgau-Brasilianer will surely keep an eye on him to prevent a scoring damage to the club.

Given the Breisgau-Brasilianer’s performance last season, they are in a better position to win this match. However, they should veer away from trivializing the upcoming encounter. With the momentum currently residing in the O-Fives, one wrong move and they can be plunge into the mud again or end in a satisfactory draw.
