The contenders

The German outfit suffered a massive loss against Everton during it’s the first leg of the tournament’s Group Stage.

Wolfsburg had to endure a 4-goal defeat, which seemed to be triggered by Ricardo Rodriguez’s own goal during the first 15 minutes. Rodriguez was able to correct his mistake though, but it was already too late as the referee has already blown the final whistle.

While it is true that Lille was the online betting favorite against FC Krasnodar, the former, still experienced a hard time in dominating the match.

Lille, which is considered as one of the biggest squads in France’s top-flight league unleashed a late rally just to secure an equalizer and avoid a clean sheet.  The latter is currently tied with its previous opponent and is hoping to clinch the 2nd spot in the group in order to advance in the latter stage of the competition.

Possible head turners

It is possible for Rodriguez to make some noise again in the upcoming match. However, he should be careful since an prolific Vincent Enyeama is eager to stop his scoring spree.
