Gibraltar is one of the smallest and newest member nations of UEFA and if they qualify for the Euro 2016, it would be their maiden campaign for the continent’s most important international football tilt. Poland, meanwhile, are entering the qualifying rounds with the hope of bagging their third consecutive berth in the Euro championships.

Gibraltar

As the only debutant in the Euro qualifications, Gibraltar rank lowest as per coefficients. They have yet to prove themselves in the international arena and with experience, skills set, and fan base hardly at par with their more senior rivals, Team 54 are faced with an extremely tough challenge of beating out their group mates such as powerhouses Poland and Germany. British overseas territory became a full member of UEFA only last year and expectations are therefore not too optimistic for the squad.

Poland

Hoping to earn their third straight seeding in the Euro finals, Poland must out-score at least three other group-mates in the qualifications. In the World Cup, they have already finished in the top three twice but in the Euro championships, they have yet to get past the Group stage. However, as far as their UEFA coefficient ranking is concerned, they have little to worry about. In their group, only Germany appears to be a gigantic opponent while the likes of Ireland, Scotland, and Georgia can be toppled by creative execution and discipline. Newcomer Gibraltar are apparent minnows, although their last two friendlies have so far yielded them with some points.

Sports betting tip: Gibraltar will succumb to Poland.
