Venue: NSK Olimpiyskyi

After finishing in the Group Stage in 2012, Ukraine raises the bar higher as it attempts to clinch the coveted silverware in the upcoming competition.

The contenders

Ukraine

Ukraine is considered as one of the online betting favorites to advance in the qualifiers. In 2012, the squad landed in the group stage and although they had an early exit, this does not ignore the overwhelming potential of the squad.

The depth of Ukrainian football is also evident in the active participation of clubs such as Shakthar Donetsk and Dynamo Kyiv in both the Champions and Europa Leagues.

To further increase its possibility of making a strong finish, Ukraine shall conduct a friendly against Moldova prior to facing Slovakia.

Slovakia

Slovakia had a strong campaign during its 2012 European Championship campaign. However, inconsistent performances have ultimately led to the squad’s downfall.

Until now, Slovakia has yet to secure its first qualification in one of Europe’s most celebrated tournament.

Possible head turners

Napoli’s team captain, Marek Hamsik could readily feature in the upcoming match and probably, bring a glitter of hope to a struggling Slovakia.

What the odds say

It does not take a genius to see that Ukraine is the ultimate favorite in the upcoming match. In 12BET, for example, the squad is valued to win at a profitable odd of 1.66. Going for a draw is also a lucrative wager with odds valued at 3.46.
