Spain- Euro 2016 Qualifiers

Match Date: 15 November 2014 (local time)

Luxembourg vs. Ukraine

Luxembourg hopes to end its losing streak and assert its right to qualify in the next stage of the competition via clinching a smooth win against the online betting favorite, Ukraine. The club has not won a single match since the qualifiers started and the result of its most recent encounter wasn’t too inspiring. Pitted against the defending champion, Spain, the minnow received a 4-0 thrashing that pushed them further in the rock bottom pit of Group C. The squad is positive that its home court advantage will give them the win they desperately need.

As for Ukraine, it could use such opportunity to outlast Spain in the ranking. Both teams are tied with six (6) points and are currently fighting for the 2nd spot of their group.

Prediction: 1-2

FYR Macedonia vs. Slovakia

Despite its narrow defeat to Ukraine, Macedonia’s qualifying chances remain high. The win it incurred against Luxembourg gave them three (3) crucial points that will keep them on track.

Meanwhile, Slovakia may use such match to acquire more points and strengthen its hold of Group C’s top spot.

Prediction: 0-2

Spain vs. Belarus

Spain has been one heck of a scoring machine in the group, but its shock defeat to Slovakia has once again, raised questions on its ability to defend the title.

Nevertheless, the squad remains positive that it will easily qualify in the next stage. Unfortunately, they will be missing Cesc Fabregas due to an injured hamstring and so is Diego Costa, who’s currently not in his perfect form.

But while it is true that several key players of Spain will miss the upcoming match, they have nothing to fear for it is evident that Belarus will take the minnow’s role in this clash.

Prediction: 3-0
