Crystal Palace is back to the danger zone after the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal. The Eagles slipped to the 17th spot of the table after failing to snatch three (3) points that could have safeguarded them from the relegation battle.

Tony Pulis admitted that he was impressed by his side’s work ethic during the mishap at Emirates Stadium.  Nevertheless, he did not deny his disappointment over conceding an easy goal right after half time.

Moving forward to the West Bromwich Albion face-off, one can expect Crystal Palace to go for their sixth clean sheet. Their strong performance at Selhurst Park gave them five (5) clean sheets during their last seven (7) home matches.

The entry of its newly signed players such as Wayne Hennessey, Joey Ledley, Scott Dann and Tom Ince is also expected in the upcoming clash. Their performance against West Brom shall determine how much depth they can contribute to the squad’s form.

Jason Puncheon, who scored the winning goal against Hull is also one of the players to be watch out for.  Striker, Glenn Murray is also someone whom supporters should keep an eye for. He will not make it into the match, though, but news of his anticipated return can give a moral boost for Pulis and his men.

West Bromwich Albion

The Baggies are keen on clinching an important win against Crystal Palace after a 1-1 stalemate against Liverpool failed to propel their rank in the table.

Tied at twenty-three (23) points, it is too early for West Brom to celebrate their survival. Their current form begs for a major improvement as they have only won once in their last six (6) matches. The club’s away form also struggles. They have already lost their nine (9) away matches and unless they do something about it, they are bound to slip into the relegation zone.

Prediction: Crystal Palace

West Brom has only won once against Crystal Palace during their last 6 encounters and this should raise important concerns in their performance as it is possible for them to encounter their second consecutive defeat.
