Even the least passionate fan of the Champions League will pack his things up and head right away to the Stadio San Paolo if he learns of a clash involving Serie A powerhouse SSC Napoli and Bundesliga dynamo Borussia Dortmund. Italians might be luckier to catch this expectedly breathtaking tourney on September 18, but supporters from outside Leonardo da Vinci’s country can still inject some input via online betting sites, TV broadcasts, and new updates from sports institutions. Alongside Arsenal and Marseille, the Italian and German squads were clustered in the Group F.

Napoli are in a pack of equally magnificent teams, making it a major challenge for coach Rafael Benitez to get past the massive obstacles. All four in the batch are football betting favorites, and for Partenopei to obtain a gust of safety, they need to fire on all cylinders from the very onset of the campaign. Cavani is no longer part of the ensemble, but it doesn’t mean that the likes of Callejon, Hamsik, and Higuain will not be able to suffice for the club’s purpose. Advancing to the quarter-finals is possible, especially if Zuniga and Maggio will be given more opportunities to tackle on more pitch duties as their potential has not yet been fully exploited.

Borussia Dortmund are undoubtedly one of the most powerful clubs in the whole of Europe, and possible, the world. The side just keep on getting better and better with every year passing; but team boss Jurgen Klopp believes that the side has not yet reached their summit, citing uncertainties of how the German players will be able to replicate or exceed last season’s superb run. Klopp was quoted saying, “No team makes it to the final just because they’re the best and strongest team,” which further proves the coach’s non-complacence on a seemingly achievable success. Based on their latest tourneys, Die Borussen remain undefeated. They almost won the Champions League title last season, and they are hoping that they will finally achieve it this time.

Napoli are composed of genius players who could serve as threats to any opponent. But their lack of experience at this level compared to Dortmund could mean that their underdog stature might overwhelm their dark horse façade. As per coefficients, Italy is ranked fourth while the Germans are placed one spot higher. Dortmund also have a more reliable form, having finished all their last seven fixtures splendidly. Given all odds, Dortmund will emerge atop this match, albeit on a very narrow 3-2 win.
