Injury issues are currently plaguing Arsenal and this might readily affect its performance against Galatasaray. The Gunners lost its first Champions League match to Borussia Dortmund and certainly, another loss will not help them in their campaign.
As for Galatasaray, the club will try to exploit the situation to gain advantage over the host. Unlike Arsenal, the Turkish outfit has managed to secure a stalemate against Anderlecht in its first Champions League game. It earned them a point and opened opportunities for a possible qualification in the tournament’s next round.

The contenders

Arsenal’s encounter against fierce rival, Tottenham, earned them a draw and a string of injuries. Three (3) of its key players such as Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere and Mikel Arteta will be sidelined due to incurring injuries during the said match.

Ramsey suffered a calf problem; Ramsey pulled a hamstring and Wilshere damaged his ankle.

But aside from the injury, Arsenal must also confront the seemingly insurmountable pressure of winning the said match in their own ground. The squad cannot afford to lose for it will lessen its possibilities of advancing in the next round.

Definitely, Galatasaray shall take advantage of Arsenal’s injury issues to strengthen its Champions League campaign.

The Turkish outfit has managed to pull off a draw in its first Champions League match. Winning this one shall give them a major boost in their confidence and eventually, qualify in the next stage of the competition.
