Juventus may be last season’s titleholder, but they never won against Sampdoria. But with a new line-up football betting fanatics have something to look forward to.

What happened last season?

Juve completed their mission of bringing home the Scudetto. The club finished with 87 points and had a better goal difference than its runner-up, Napoli.

On the other hand, La Samp hardly made a buzz in the league. They were not relegated, but finishing on the 14th spot was not good enough. Much to the disappointment of its supporters, even the club’s goal difference, was one of the lowest.

Current team form

Juventus is on tip-top shape.
Andrea Pirlo, who was allegedly reported to transfer to Real Madrid or retire, denied such stories. The creative playmaker, who was also one of Italy’s heroes in the recently concluded, Confederations Cup, will remain at Juventus Stadium.

Former Manchester City’s team Captain, Carlos Tévez is also a celebrated addition in the club. The forward who once helped City steal the spotlight in the English Premier League is set to score more goals for Juve.

Tévez has the championship experience. And with Juve defending a title, Tévez will surely fit in. Other than that, the acclaimed Argentinian footballer has been capped for several times, adding more experience and substance to the club.

Paul Pogba or more popularly known as II Polpo Paul is another capped member joining the Juventus rank. The French midfielder is slowly creating a name in international competitions when he helped France secure a win in the World Cup qualifying match against Georgia.

Meanwhile, the Sampdoria side has yet to create a buzz regarding their new acquisitions.

Clearly, Juve remains a favorite. Last season’s previous champs will definitely refuse to let go of their winning streaks and neither will it easily succumbed to would-be contenders.
