With the available attacking options they have, it is a great wonder why Norwich struggles in their scoring. The club already planned to get reinforcements and it will be exciting to see how new signings can contribute into the club success.

Match Date: 01 February 2014 (local time)
Venue: Cardiff City Stadium

Team Form

Cardiff

Rock bottom Cardiff is hopeful that the arrival of striker Kenwyne Jones can help them survive the current season. The Bluebirds continue to struggle after suffering its 4th consecutive defeat. They experienced their most recent demise into the hands of Manchester United where the Red Devils kept them at bay and fired two (2) goals.

Cardiff’s need for a striker is evident. They failed to score in four (4) of their last six (6) matches and making matters worse is that they were conceding at least 2 goals in their last seven (7) encounters. Apparently, scoring is not the sole problem that Cardiff confronts. They are also performing badly in their defence.

Fortunately, the Bluebirds only need four (4) points to enter the safe zone of the table. It is still, very possible at this moment. But it comes with a heavy condition—they need to convert and collect victories.

Norwich

The Canaries are fortunate that they are still on the safe side of the Premier League table. But with their poor form, they cannot be too confident.

On a closer look, the Canaries have only won once in their last six (6) matches. Such situation is indeed, a disappointing one, given the fact that they have invested well during the summer transfer season. The investment failed to deliver results—so much so that the club is now forced to look for “reinforcements” in their goal scoring options.

Online betting’s top pick: Norwich

It is interesting to see Jones score for Cardiff. But it is more interesting to see how Norwich will maximize all the attacking options they have.
