Bayern Munchen vs. Bayer Leverkusen

Match Date: 15 March 2014 (local time)

Venue: Allianz Arena

Confidence overflows in the Allianz Arena as the Bavarians go against Bayer Leverkusen. Undefeated in their last twenty  (20) matches, the champion is keen on defending their title this season. Inspiring them even more was their Champions League victory over their nemesis, Arsenal.

Bayern Munchen maintains a clean slate throughout this season. The club is undefeated and just recently, scores an average of four (4) goals over the last 4 matches. Further illustrating their scoring prowess are the total number of goals recorded in seven (7) of their last eight (8) encounters at home. During those matches, the goals scored were more than 2.5.

Mario Mandzukic, currently holds the record for scoring the most goals this season. So far, he has already accumulated sixteen (16) points under his belt. Ballon d’ Or nominee, Franck Ribery is also expected to grace the match against Bayer. The latter has been sidelined for a few weeks due to an injury.

On the other hand,  Bayer may have a hard time clinching a win at Allianz Arena. The thrashing from Paris Saint Germain created a major blow in the club’s morale. Giving them even more problems is their inconsistent and struggling team form, which opened opportunities for Borussia Dortmund to outrank them.

Prediction: Bayern Munchen

It does not take rocket science to see Bayern Munchen’s upper hand in the said match. The sports betting site, 12BET makes them a top pick to win at 2.01. A 6.91 for a draw also looks profitable as Bayer has once forced the Bavarians to settle for an even steven finish. Going for over 2.5 goals at 1.79 may also generate lucrative results.

Augsburg vs. Schalke 04

Match Date: 14 March 2014 (local time)

Venue: SGL Arena

Augsburg moved a notch higher in their rank, thanks to a victory that Halil Altintop and Tobias Werner handed over. The two were crucial in making a great comeback after Raffael took the early lead for Borussia Monchengladbach.

Markus Weinzierl and his men have been showing significant improvements this season. After hanging on to the 15th spot last year, the club sits comfortably at the 6th spot and is almost sure of qualifying in the European competition next season. They are unbeaten in eleven (11) of their last twelve (12) matches and while it is true that Schalke 04 is a strong force to reckon with, it is possible for the club to pull off a draw in the said encounter.

Schalke and Augsburg

Meanwhile, Schalke was still licking their wounds from the 6-1 thrashing they received from Real Madrid and a 5-1 beating from the Bavarians. However, this did not prevent the Royal Blues from imposing themselves against Hoffenheim.

Unleashing all their frustrations from their humiliating lackluster performances, Schalke dominated the match via installing four (4) goals while keeping their opponents at bay. The Sky Blues also sport a competitive team form and may feature well in their clash against Augsburg. To note, Schalke has been undefeated in their last six (6) matches against their upcoming opponent.

Prediction: Stalemate

Augsburg and Schalke 04 are on equal footing right now. This is despite Schalke’s 6-point advantage. Both clubs share an equal number of wins, losses and draws in their last 6 matches, in which the two were able to scoop 5 wins, a draw and a defeat. Both determined to score more points and come up with a strong finish, the sports betting site 12BET offers a lucrative draw at 1.84 in this match.

Borussia Dortmund vs. Borussia Monchengladbach

Match Date: 15 March 2014 (local time)

Venue: Signal Iduna Park

The Borussians were humble enough to admit that the win against SC Freiburg, was no more than sheer luck. With their opponent’s aggressiveness, Jurgen Klopp and his men struggled in scoring until Sebastian Kehl broke their silence and scored the match’s first and only goal.

With the said win, Borussia Dortmund has managed to strengthen their grip of the table second spot. Bayer Leverkusen has overshadowed them for quite some time and it has been the center of criticism after a sloppy performance against Hamburger SV. But it looked like the Borussians are back to their winning ways.
As a proof, the club has only lost once in their last 6 matches and while the victory over Freiburg was  a result of plain luck, still, they were able to steal three (3) points—and this is without their reliable striker, Robert Lewandowski, who was then sidelined due to injury issues.

 Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Monchengladbach

If the Borussians show great improvement, this is quite different from Borussia Monchengladbach. The Foals slipped to the 8th spot after enduring a narrow defeat from Augsburg.

The extent of Die Fohlen’s sloppy performance is more evident in their team form. For the past 6 matches, the club has indeed “fohlen” (sic) into pieces as it has failed to snatch a single win and merely thrives on draws.

Prediction: Borussia Dortmund

Evidently, the Borussians take the sports betting’s favorite role in this particular match.  They are tipped to win at a lucrative 2.03 odds at 12BET.

Hertha Berlin vs. Hannover 96

Match Date: 15 March 2014 (local time)

Venue: Olympiastadion

During the post-match press conference , Hertha Berlin’s head honcho, Jos Luhukay stressed that the European competition is not in their priority list. This was after the squad stumbled to a 1-1 draw against Mainz 05. The stalemate has also caused the squad to drop to the 9th spot.

Luhukay explained that qualifying for the Europa League is an incentive, rather than a concrete goal. He emphasized that there are plenty of matches to be won in the domestic league and he sees them as more important than having international exposure.

Luhukay, however, expressed that he was happy with how the lads played during the match, saying that it readily showed the club’s character.

 Hertha Berlin and Hannover 96

After a strong start, Hertha Berlin’s performance seemed to spiral down. This is most especially true during the 2nd half of the season. To date, the draw against Mainz was their second consecutive stalemate in their last 6 matches.

Similar to Hertha Berlin, Hannover 96’s even steven finish against Bayer Leverkusen did little to improve their rank. As a matter of fact, it pushed them to the mid-table. Such scenario therefore subjects them to clinch more victories in order to veer away from the tough survival battle in the rock bottom part of the table.

Making the matters worse for Hannover is their poor away form. A closer look shows that they have been unsuccessful in 12 of their last 13 away matches in Germany’s top-flight league.

Prediction: Hertha Berlin

Hertha Berlin takes the online betting favorite’s role in this particular match. In 12BET, a a profitable 2.19 is pegged in their favor.

Hoffenheim vs. Mainz 05

Match Date: 15 March 2014 (local time)

Venue: Rhein-Neckar Arena

Hoffenheim may have fallen down to Schalke, but such defeat is barely enough to prevent it from being the match’s sports betting favorite.

 Hoffenheim and Mainz

The club sports a strong form. It has only lost once in its last 6 matches and almost invincible when playing in their own territory. As a matter of fact, it scores an average of 2 goals in all of its 6 encounters at home.

Mainz 05 has the same team form as that of Hoffenheim. Like its opponent, the squad had its dose of defeat just once. This suggests that if given the opportunity, they will grab the spotlight with ease.

Prediction: Hoffenheim

In its recent 3 home matches, Hoffenheim has managed to control both halves of their encounters. They are pitted to win at 1.94 in 12BET. But since Mainz is also capable of creating upsets, a 3.27 draw presents some decent value here.

Werder Bremen vs. VfB Stuttgart

Match Date: 15 March 2014 (local time)

Venue: Weserstadion

After a 4-match winless streak, Die Werderaner just secured their 2nd consecutive win last weekend. The club dominated the match against FC Nurnberg, thus, clinching a 0-2 victory in their favor.

Other than the consecutive win, the said result was also the third time that Werder Bremen has kept a clean sheet in its last 6 matches. This suggests that the squad has readily up the ante of their defence. With their impressive performance, it is not surprising to see football betting tips make them as their top pick in the battle against VfB Stuttgart.
Thanks to the above-mentioned victory, Werder Bremen is on the 11th spot of the table and is just a point short of entering the top 10.

 Werder Bremen vs. VfB Stuttgart

Meanwhile, VfB Stuttgart’s performance is on the rocks. At risk of slipping to the relegation zone, the club failed to move a notch higher as the minnow Braunschweig forced them to an even steven finish. Their match ended with 2 goals apiece.

Stuttgart has been winless in its last 6 matches. They also lost their last 5 away matches and conceded an average of 2 goals in their last 12 Bundesliga encounters.

Prediction: Werder Bremen

Werdere Bremen is the clear favorite of the match. At 12BET, they are expected to win at 2.13. Since its defence has been impressive and Stuttgart has been conceding goals, a clean sheet at 3.70 for the host also looks lucrative.

Hamburger SV vs. FC Nurnberg

Match Date: 16 March 2014 (local time)

Venue: HSH Nordbank Arena

A draw may not be the best result that Die Rothosen could have during the encounter against Eintracht Frankfurt. But at the very least, it has managed to keep their survival hopes and dreams alive.

Hamburger SV was already on the verge of losing the clash when the Eagles scored an early lead. Fortunately, a foul from Carlos Zambrano sent Hakan Calhanoglu into the penalty and saw him convert the said scoring opportunity. Technically, the draw did little to salvage the club from the relegation zone. But then again, the added point permitted them to veer away from the said arena.

In terms of team form, Die Rothosen needs to man on the pitch. They have only won once in their last 6 matches. They should be consistent if they are still, interested in appearing in the top-flight league next season.

Hamburger SV and FC Nurnberg

As for Nurnberg’s case, the club displays a better performance than Hamburger SV, except that they lost their previous match to Werder Bremen.
Ranked as Bundesliga’s 14th  best club, Nurnberg’s present team form is comprised of three (3) wins and three (3) loses. They do rank higher than the host. But this does not mean that they are already safe from relegation.

Prediction: FC Nurnberg

Hamburger was unsuccessful in 10 of their 11 matches. Such form makes FC Nurnberg the favorite of online bookies. In 12BET, they are pegged to win at 2.02. Since the match is expected to be a tight one, it is also possible to have a stalemate in the said outcome. A draw is offered at a decent value of 3.37 at 12BET.

Braunschweig vs. Wolfsburg

Match Date: 15 March 2014 (local time)

Venue: Eintracht Stadion

Braunschweig did a spectacular job of denying VfB Stuttgart an important win last weekend. Daniel Davari’s crucial save during the penalty prevented Stuttgart from extending their lead to 3. Likewise, it is worthy to applaud the brave men of the squad—to be more specific, Ermin Bicakcic, who pulled off an equalizer during the dying minutes of the match.

The minnow may have shown a display of great character, but football is won through scoring goals. As for this case, the draw barely helped Braunschweig to get of the relegation zone.

 Braunschweig and wolfsburg

In terms of its team form, the club has won only once in their last 6 matches. For the past 5 matches, it has been also conceding an average of 2 goals in every game.

Meanwhile, Wolfsburg will most likely unleash their frustration to the host as they try to redeem themselves from a massive defeat to the perennial, football gambling favorite, Bayern Munchen.

The Bavarians thrashed them with 6 goals while they can only respond with a single goal. Fortunately, the heavy blow did not cause them spiral down the table. They still hold the 5th spot and is almost assured of qualifying to the European competition next season.

Prediction: Wolfsburg

Expect Wolfsburg to feature in this particular match given the fact that they have a better form. At 12BET, they are pegged to win at 1.97. Going for OVER 1.73 may also generate lucrative sums.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. SC Freiburg

Match Date: 16 March 2014 (local time)

Venue: Commerzbank-Arena

Instead of soaring high, the Eagles dropped to the 13th spot after Hamburger SV forced them to settle for a 1-1 stalemate.
Although a draw can salvage a squad from spiraling downwards, this was not the case for Frankfurt. Earning a point at this crucial moment barely suffices as survival battles get tougher and tougher. As a result, Frankfurt, rather than move away, drew closer to the dreaded zone. The outcome of the said match became even more disappointing for the Eagles had the early lead and it only took a quick penalty at the dying moments of the match to level the scores.

SC Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt

At any rate, if there is anything that makes them a possible online betting favorite, this is the fact that they have been successful in five (5) of their last home matches. They can readily exploit this edge to turn the odds into their favor.

In the meantime, SC Freiburg’s performance is something that the club can be proud of. The Borussians may have stripped them off of a crucial victory, but they never failed to impress with their outstanding performance. Perhaps, Freiburg simply needs to be more clinical and creative in shaping scoring opportunities in order to survive this season.
Currently, the club sits at the 17th spot of the table and needs a point or two to get of the dreaded zone.

Prediction: Eintracht Frankfurt

With SC Freiburg having a hard time to score a single win in their last seven  (7) matches, the Eagles are pitted to win the match at a profitable 2.05 at 12BET.  However, the host cannot afford to thoroughly rest on their laurels as Freiburg is capable of sharing spoils in the said encounter.
