Bayern and Stuttgart

Match Date: 10 May 2014 (local time)

Venue: Allianz Arena

Nobody really knows why the mighty Bayern Munchen slipped out of the Champions League at Allianz Arena. It was a disappointing scene knowing that the Bavarians are at their strongest when playing at home. But while many are baffled and filled with regrets, one thing is for sure: the German giant shall use the match against VfB Stuttgart as a testament of their greatness and spectacular achievements.

Clearly, Bayern Munchen is the outright favorite of sports betting sites. The club may have suffered from 2 losses and a draw in its last 6 matches, but it bounced back with massive wins against its opponents. Two (2) of its most recent matches, to be more specific, those against Werder Bremen and Hamburger SV, witnessed them scored more than 3 points.

Bayern is a cold-blooded scoring machine. There is no doubt about that. In 23 of their last 25 Bundesliga matches, the reigning champion consistently scored an average of 2 goals. In their last 8 clashes at Allianz Arena, their matches witnessed more than 2.5 goals. This is not a surprise, considering the scoring rampage that they are into.

As for Stuttgart, their current team form can level with that of Bayern. The number of wins, losses and draws that they have recorded within its last 6 matches are equally distributed.

Unfortunately, Stuttgart have not been very effective in their performances outside their own territory. They have already lost their last 9 away matches and right now, they are placed in a similar situation again.  The probability that Stuttgart will lose is high. Fortunately, the loss will not affect them in the ranking. They will still retain their Bundesliga status as this will be their last match in the 2013-2014 season.

Prediction:  Bayern Munchen
