Team Form

Braunschweig

Braunschweig’s struggle for survival becomes even more difficult as they are set to meet the eager Borussia Dortmund.

Braunschweig’s last two (2) consecutive matches showed impressive performances. After four (4) consecutive defeats, they got the best out of Hoffenheim and forced a scoreless stalemate against Werder Bremen. Yet, despite these victories, the club remained at the rock bottom part of the table and with Borussia Dortmund around, it seemed that their exit from Bundesliga is inevitable.

Currently, the club’s form is no match against Dortmund’s lineup. Nevertheless, they can still bank on the idea of forcing a draw. But they cannot be contented with frequent even steven finishes as these barely help them in the ranking.

Borussia Dortmund

Despite their evident strength, the Borussians are not taking the match against Braunschweig lightly.

From a strong title contender, Dortmund found themselves slipping out of the Bundesliga’s top three (3). They are now occupying the 3rd spot of the table and trails Bayer Leverkusen by four  (4) points. Moreover, the result of their recent matches have not been very impressive. They have only won once in five (5) of their last six (6) battles—something that is quite unlikely to the last season’s Champions League runner-up.

Dortmund also struggles with injury problems. From Ikay Gundogan and now, Jakub Blaszczykowski, the club’s management called for an emergency talk to discuss the club’s approach in the transfer window.

Online betting’s top pick: Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund may have conceded at least two (2) goals during its last three (3) matches. yet, with their strong away form, visiting Braunschweig will not cause too much problem.
