Braunschweig

Braunschweig and Hamburger SV meet not only to prove which club has the right to be hailed as the sports betting favorite, but also to fight for their survival this season.

Match Date: 15 February 2014 (local time)

Venue: Eintracht Stadion

Team Form

Braunschweig

Die Lowen failed to capitalize on the opportunity to move away from the rock bottom pit of the relegation zone when they fell prey to Eintracht Frankfurt.

After snatching a win Hoffenheim and forcing a draw against Werder Bremen, Braunschweig’s inconsistency led to losing against Borussia Dortmund and Frankfurt. Yet, on a closer look at it, inconsistency was just one of their main issues. The core of their problem lies on their group’s lack of strength. The players simply find it hard to adjust or adapt well to the hardcore pitch action that is present in Germany’s top-flight league.

Technically speaking, it is still possible for Braunschweig to survive this season. But can they secure consecutive wins? It sounds difficult, however, so far, this is the best approach towards making appearing in Bundesliga in the next season.

Hamburger SV

Similar to Braunschweig, Hamburger also struggles for survival and just like their upcoming opponent, they were experienced a thrashing too and this time around, it was in the hands of the capital club, Hertha Berlin.

The thrashing from Hertha Berlin was already a bitter pill to swallow. But what is even worse is that the club has not won a single match during its last six (6) encounters. Compared to Braunschweig, they have a worse form and in this rough and tough relegation battle, their winning possibilities might be compromised.

Prediction: Draw

The will to survive, combined with the necessary skills are key factors that will determine the outcome of the match and with both Braunschweig and Hertha Berlin showing the same passion and intensity, there is a probability for the match to end in a draw.
