victory against the defending champion, Miami Heat. The Spurs is now two (2) games ahead in the series and faces the possibility of eventually winning the title at home.

What happened in Game 4

The depth of Spurs’ team form paved way for its convincing victory. All of its members scored in the game with Kawhi Leonard leading the scoreboard.

On the other hand, Miami’s performance was a total opposite of what Spurs did. LeBron James, as usual was the top scorer, with 28 points. Chris Bosh contributed 28 and Dwayne Wade delivered 10. Bosh and Wade were particularly silent during the said encounter. Indeed, they scored, but their presence was hardly felt.

Game 4 ended with 107 to 86, in favor of San Antonio.

San Antonio is the evident favorite of the match. If the team replicates their performance in Game 4, there is a high possibility for them to win the title. Since their scoring options are evenly distributed, this will give the Heat’s defence department a hard time since it will give San Antonio’s big three more scoring opportunities.  Kawhi Leonard is also doing a great job in guarding in James, which could cripple Miami’s scoring.

With the home court advantage to exploit and with Tim Duncan’s Double-Doubles record set to inspire, San Antonio is on the verge of getting the coveted silverware and its dose of sweet revenge.
