Olympique de Marseille v Arsenal - UEFA Champions League

Match Date: 19 October 2013 (local time)

Venue: Emirates Stadium

A lackluster performance forced the Gunners to settle for a draw against West Bromwich Albion. Keen on bringing back the club’s glorious days, Arsene Wenger shall not miss the opportunity to increase its lead in the Premier League when they face the relegation-prone club, Norwich.

Team Form

Arsenal had to (bleed) to force a draw against a fully prepared West Bromwich Albion. The Gunners, which secured an easy victory against Napoli has to settle for a draw during their previous match. Nevertheless, this did not prevent Arsene Wenger and his men from taking the top spot in the Premier League.

Despite dominating the table, the Gunners’ past performance barely speaks of the club that easily gained the upper hand over Napoli. It displayed its dire need for a stable and wide middle—something that was readily missed due to the absence of Theo Walcott and Lucas Podolski. Moreover, it cannot be denied that the club begs for some fresh legs that will not only keep them on the go, but also do well in the conversion.

Arsenal had a slow start this season. It suffered its first defeat during its opening match, yet claimed successive victories during their next encounters. The club also showed a much stronger force when playing at home. The truth is, they won 11 out of their 12 home matches.

On the other hand, Norwich just suffered its 4th defeat when they met Chelsea. Scoring just a single goal, Jose Mourinho’s men immediately thrashed them with 2 consecutive goals. The Canaries is now nearing the relegation zone, occupying the 17th spot after the said loss.

Football betting tip: Arsenal 3-0 Norwich

As mentioned, Arsenal plays the strongest when they are at home. Due to this, the upcoming match makes them a heavy favorite over Norwich.
