Torino-Week 9

Sassuolo vs. Empoli

Match Date: 28 October 2014 (local time)

Venue: Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’ Italia

Slowly veering away from the relegation zone, there is no reason for the online betting favorite, Sassuolo to be defeated in its very own territory.

In a press conference, its head honcho, Eusebio Di Francesco expressed his satisfaction over the squad’s ability to maintain their momentum. Prior to snatching a 3-0 win against Parma, Sassoulo also forced the current league leader, Juventus to an even steven finish.

Unfortunately, Sassuolo had to endure injury issues. Some of its key players will be sidelined in the match. Simeone Zaza, for example, suffered a muscular problem that will hinder him from playing.

The newly-promoted Empoli slipped to the 14th spot of the league table after a 4-0 thrashing from Cagliari. The clean sheet was the worst part of the said defeat and hopefully, this will not affect their upcoming performance.
According to their manager, Maurizio Sarri, the squad was readily punished due to the momentary lapses that transpired in their previous match.

Expect a down the wire match that could even end in an even steven finish.

Sassuolo 1-2 Empoli

Torino vs. Parma

Match Date: 29 October 2014 (local time)

Venue: Juventus Stadium

A narrow defeat to Lazio pushed Torino to the 13th spot of the Serie A table. A win could have catapulted them to the top 10, but their efforts fell short.
However, despite the defeat, Giamperino Ventura remains pleased with his club’s performance.

Torino has only won twice since the season started.

Parma’s woes worsen as three (3) of its players incurred an injury that will sideline them during the clash against Torino. The squad shall be missing the services of Massimo Coda, Afriyie Acquah and Paolo De Ceglie.

The Crusaders has already transformed into a relegation favorite—a far-flung shot from what they have achieved last season.

Parma currently occupies the rock bottom pit of the league table.
